The platform I just got working with the fix you provided is a Win10/Pro box. Something odd, is my wife's laptop which is running Win10/Home(Version/Build:3), is using a Windows provided driver (Version:1, Name:HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series Class Driver, Provider:Microsoft, Driver date:) and it prints and scans fine. Hello worked.'slicker'n deer guts on a pump handle'! Can I ask where you located this copy for Win10? I seem to remember at one time there was a Win10 version on HP's support site, but there is nothing there now except the suggestion that you use the Windows provided version.
